NanoXD™ is a premium, crystal-clear epoxy formulated for deep pours, and casting applications. Its low VOC, two-part system offers excellent flow and a high-gloss finish, making it ideal for countertops, river tables, live edge furniture, and artistic projects using metallic pearls. Capable of supporting pours up to 5 inches thick, NanoXD™ self-levels beautifully to create a smooth, glass-like surface. It’s resistant to stains, blush, solvents, and provides semi-chemical and UV protection for added durability. Approved as USDA Food Grade, it’s safe for surfaces that may come into contact with food. With a simple 2:1 mixing ratio, NanoXD™ delivers consistent results for both DIY and professional use. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
Pour epoxy resin into a larger container. For metallic pigments,
incorporate into Part A and stir slowly for 3 minutes or until streak free.
Allow mixture to rest for several hours for full pigment saturation before
re-stirring. Then, introduce Epoxy Hardener, stirring slowly for 2 minutes.
Next, pour mixed material into a clean pail (transfer pail). Stir for 1 minute.
Pour immediately, do not allow mixed epoxy to sit in pail.
APPLICATION / COUNTERTOP:
EXTERIOR APPLICATIONS: DO NOT USE OUTDOORS. All Epoxies amber from the sun’s natural UV. Use one of our polyaspartic products. Speak to a Spartan Expert for more details.
APPLICATION / COUNTERTOP:
Dam edges with blue tape, pour and spread evenly with a squeegee. Timing for tape removal depends on depth and conditions. Test on a sample board first. Use extra mixed
material to wet edges. Do not touch material that’s falling, just wet the counters edges to help move material. Expect about 25% waste.
CASTING: Pour up to 2 inches at once, allowing self-leveling. For depths up to 5 inches, note that curing times double. We recommend pouring in
2-inch layers for best results.
