VAPOR PRO - Moisture Vapor Barrier (Clear)

VAPOR PRO is a two component 100% solids epoxy seal that can help control moisture emission rates up to 20lb / 24hr / 1000 square feet. The primer can help alleviate some of the issues associated with moisture vapor in concrete. In most situations, one coat of VAPOR PRO will be efficient and effective. 

Product covers: 94.4 square feet per gallon @ 17 mils

This primer can be used prior to the application of a variety of flooring systems. Including polymeric coating systems, vinyl sheets, tile, cementitious overlays, terrazzo, wood veneers, and carpet. This product meets ASTM F3010 product requirements for vapor permeance at the recommended thickness.

Cure Schedule: 70 degrees:

Pot Life (150 grams mass): None - pour ribbons of mixed material immediately or it will harden in the bucket.

Working Time: 25 minutes - Must be squeegeed at 17 mils (94 sq ft per gallon). Then backroll with a 3/16" nap roller.

Light Foot Traffic: 16 to 18 hours

Full Cure: 3 to 7 days

Mix Ratio: (by weight) (volumes approximate)

9.25 lbs (1 gallon) part A to 4.15 lbs (.50 gallons) part B . Essentially it's a 2 to 1 mix ratio, but please be cautious as volumes are approximate and "we recommend not splitting a kit". 

Application Temperature:

60 - 90 Degrees F with relative humidity below 90% for best results.
